Quality Inn West Lafayette - University Area

Dear Management, I recently stayed at your motel for one night, and while the stay itself was comfortable, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the front desk service during my checkout. When I went to the front desk to settle my bill and request a receipt, there was no staff member present. Instead, there was just a note instructing guests to leave the keys and that receipts would be emailed later. I find this unacceptable, especially when it involves payment-related matters. I had questions about the charges and needed assistance, but there was no one available to help. Not having a staff member present at checkout and not being able to receive a receipt on the spot reflects poorly on the level of service. I hope this issue can be addressed to improve the experience for future guests. I waited almost 20minutes and there was nobody on the front desk to help.

This hotel is ideally located for visitors to Purdue University, just a 10-minute drive away. It’s conveniently situated across from a Walmart and several restaurants, making it easy to access essentials and dining options. The parking area is spacious and reliable, with ample spots always available. The front desk staff provide exceptional service, demonstrating professionalism and attentiveness. A special thanks to Crystal, who manages the morning shift with remarkable professionalism and dedication. Similarly, Mohammed Monir, who handles the night shift, deserves praise for his proactive approach, kindness, and respect. While the rooms may not be the most modern, they are clean, comfortable, and well-suited for travelers seeking a practical and restful stay. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money, and we will likely return for future visits to Purdue University. Thank you for a pleasant and reliable experience!

We just checked in yesterday, and although our room was clean, the AC wasn't working. The hotel is under some renovation, however it just has a historical old style, yet tranquil appeal. Marie is absolutely phenomenal at her job and should really consider coaching hospitality etiquette seminars. She is top notch when it comes to customer satisfaction. I approached her this morning about some issues and she not only fixed them, but upgraded us for our inconvenience. She truly is a gem and her smile is contagious. Everyone we've encountered has been hospitable and friendly.

The atrium in the center of this hotel is beautiful and nostalgic. There are live plants everywhere and beautiful light fixtures. You can tell that this place has quite a history. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast and the pool.

The staff is absolutely amazing! Did an extended stay at this location and never once noticed the renovations to be a bother at all and it's starting to look amazing as renovations take place. Breakfast is always hot right along with the coffee. Rooms are always clean! Thanks for the great hospitality!

My husband and I were looking for a reasonably priced area to stay while visiting family, and found this hotel. I just thought it would be a basic quality inn… little did i know it was so much more! There’s an atrium and pool inside. If you like eclectic, mid-century vibes, you will love this hotel. They are currently renovating under new management, and make sure guests are aware with their employees letting you know as well as with signage! While it is obvious the hotel has been around for a while, they have made such an effort to maintain a clean and comfortable environment in the rooms. We stayed in a king suite, and the bed was so spacious and comfortable! It was clean, the basic amenities were easily available, and it was quiet with no smell. The continental breakfast was sufficient for us as my husband loves hotel waffles and i love buttered english muffins! The coffee was hot, there was no lack of cream or sugar. I am OBSESSED with the atrium tho! I hope they keep that area with the renovations because it really was so magical to look at at night. I really think it is what sets it apart from other hotels. We will be staying here any time we are in the area. Thank you so much!

The location is 10min away from Purdue univerisity so was very convenient and price was reasonable. They had a quadruple room whixh was great for our family. Unfortunately housekeeping not daily for room but still manageable. Crystal and mohamed in the reception both are very helpful and always caring and sweet.

This is my favorite hotel ever. We are from VA, and come here to see our kiddo at college. The price point is great, the room we stayed in is updated and really nice, and the lady at the front desk is AMAZING. The interior of the hotel is INCREDIBLE. Guys, you have to give it a chance! Bring your bathing suite bc there is a pool and hot tub INSIDE the hotel, and there are palm trees INSIDE the hotel. Spiral stairs- yup, those too. You aren’t staying at the Waldorf (nor is your wallet), so bring realistic expectations and you will be AMAZED!
